Registration to JEMS 2022 Conference has been closed on 15/07/2022


The 2022 Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS2022) is jointly organized by the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw in association with the European Magnetism Association (EMA) (Organizer). Abstract submissions and registration are handled through Nobell Congressing Ltd. – JEMS2022 Official Secretariat.

The organizers of JEMS2022 have decided to allow on-line participants from Ukrainian institutions to register for the conference free of charge. Simultaneously, we undertake efforts to raise funds to cover conference fees for a certain number of colleagues from Ukraine who will be willing and able to attend JEMS 2022 in Warsaw.

EMA and organizers of JEMS2022 have decided that the participation of persons with affiliation in the Russian Federation or in Belarus will not be considered, both on-site and online. EMA and JEMS2022 organizers will promote programmes to provide specific support to participants from Ukraine.

[1] PhD students are eligible to discounted registration fees. To prove your student status, a copy of your student ID or a letter from your institution MUST BE SENT UPON REGISTRATION. Failure to produce the proof of student status will result in a charge to the regular participant registration fee.

[2] Emeritus, retired scientists are eligible to discounted registration fees. A proof of your emeritus status MUST BE SENT UPON REGISTRATION. Failure to produce the proof of an emeritus status will result in a charge to the regular participant registration fee.

Participants planning to come to Warsaw can add lunches (15€ each) and conference dinner ticket (60€) to the registration fee as additional options in the registration form.
 
Onsite registration fee includes:

  • Abstract published in the electronic book of abstracts and uploaded in the virtual event website.
  • Certificate of attendance.
  • Coffee breaks and refreshments.
  • Welcome reception.
  • Conference materials.
  • Online access to all conference activities.
Virtual registration fee includes:
  • Access to the scientific program.
  • Online access to all sessions with active participation (live oral and poster presentations and Q&A options).
  • Abstract published in the electronic book of abstracts and uploaded in the virtual event website.
  • Certificate of attendance.
Accompanying person registration fee includes:
  • Access to the conference venue.
  • Coffee breaks and refreshments.
  • Welcome reception.
The prices indicated are per person and are only applicable if both the registration form and the payment are received before the deadlines mentioned below.

Confirmation

Upon completion of your online registration and after the registration fee is credited to the bank account, you will be sent a final registration confirmation by email. The confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided on the registration form and it will indicate receipt of the payment. An invoice will follow the registration confirmation e-mail.

Accepted methods of payment

  1. Payment by credit card (for all registration categories). The online registration platform is a secured site. VISA, and Eurocard/MasterCard are the only credit cards accepted. Please enter all relevant information on the registration form. It is also mandatory that the credit cardholder’s name is clearly mentioned if it differs from the registrant’s name. After the positive credit card authorisation, you will be sent a confirmation of your registration within one working day after the credit card payment is finalized.

Invoices

Only a digital version of invoices will be sent to participants upon completion of the online registration and after the registration fee is paid. The invoice will be issued using the billing details provided on the registration form, so please make sure you have provided us with the correct information (company name, address and VAT/tax identification number if applicable).

Videos and photographs

The JEMS2022 organizer reserves the right to record in the form of video or photograph all sessions included in the programme and to use videos in any internal and external communication referring to JEMS2022, including, but not limited to, its websites and mobile application and social media pages. By registering to JEMS2022 you hereby consent to such uses by the conference organizer.

Cancellation & refund policy

If you can no longer attend  JEMS2022, you can cancel your registration and receive a full refund, less 20 EUR administration fee, up to June 15th, 2022. Cancellations of JEMS2022 registrations must be communicated to the JEMS2022 Official Secretariat, in writing by e-mail to info@jems2022.pl. After June 16th, 2022 no refunds will be made for cancellations or for no shows. Shared registrations are not permitted. All refunds will be processed after the event. Any refunds to credit card payments may only be credited back to the original credit card.
We will not incur any charges for the change of the form of participation (from virtual to onsite and vice versa).

Please note that the only legitimate sources of communication related to JEMS2022 will be from the JEMS Secretariat (email only) and the email accounts of the members of the Organising Committee, Programme Committee and symposia chairs.
