The organizers of JEMS2022 have decided to allow on-line participants from Ukrainian institutions to register for the conference free of charge. Simultaneously, we undertake efforts to raise funds to cover conference fees for a certain number of colleagues from Ukraine who will be willing and able to attend JEMS 2022 in Warsaw.
EMA and organizers of JEMS2022 have decided that the participation of persons with affiliation in the Russian Federation or in Belarus will not be considered, both on-site and online. EMA and JEMS2022 organizers will promote programmes to provide specific support to participants from Ukraine.

Open now!

The abstract submission closes on March 18th, 2022 (23:59 CET - Central European Time)

EXTENDED DEADLINE

Due to the unforeseen global political situation the Organizers have decided to postpone the deadline for abstract submission for 2 weeks, that is until 18 March 2022.

It is clear to us that your decision whether to participate in the JEMS2022 Conference may not be obvious at the moment. Since we are aware that some of you wonder whether to submit an abstract, we want to confirm that we intend to move forward according to our schedule. Accordingly, we encourage you to submit your abstract as there is still time to make a final decision about the form of your participation (virtual or personal) before the regular registration deadline set for 30 June 2022. (The “early bird” registration deadline is 20 May 2022).

All abstracts must be submitted online using the dedicated submission form. Each abstract must be directed to one of the announced symposia.

ABSTRACT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

The length of the abstract should be maximum of 1 page of A4 format. The authors should provide comprehensive details of their work in a concise form. Please prepare your abstract according to:
  1. The abstract must be uploaded as a PDF file. Word and LaTex JEMS2022 Abstract Templates are provided below. Please, follow the templates strictly.
  2. The official language of JEMS2022 is English. Authors must make sure that the abstract has been written in proper English.
  3. Please inspect your abstract carefully before submitting. However, should you find it necessary, changes will be permitted within the abstract submission deadline.
A maximum of 2 contributions may be presented by a single registered author.

The presenting author will be required to register for the conference in order to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final program.

The Symposia Chairs will review all submitted abstracts and assess them in relation to their relevance to the conference themes, classifying them to either oral or poster presentations. The Symposia Chairs may also decide to transfer the contribution to a more relevant symposium. It is likely that some of the contributions may be promoted to the invited form.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent via email to the submitting author by 5 May 2022.

A note about posters:
The conference is planned in a hybrid form, however the poster presentations will be organized exclusively online via separate Zoom Rooms, where presenters will be able to discuss their posters with attending participants. In order to increase the visibility of the poster presentations the presenting authors will be required to prepare a 2 slide summary of their work and deliver a 2 minutes presentation just before the poster session discussions in separate Zoom Rooms.
We do not plan to display hardcopy posters.
